Modern engines are controlled by a complex computer system – and this is exactly where tuning comes in.
By making specific adjustments to the injection, camshaft position, ignition timing, boost pressure and injection pressure, the power can be optimised to match the engine speed and load. This data is stored in so-called “maps” – and it is precisely these that we optimise.
This is called Map-Tuning oder Software optimisation. We get the maximum out of the existing engine – without any mechanical interventions.
